Fall Trend of 2011
Well, Fall has arrived and fashion never falls. As fall of 2011 Fashion Week emerges, here are the fall fashion trends.
Peplum Blazers, Coats and Vests

Some of fall’s prettiest sweaters, puffer jackets and blazers come with whittled-in-at-the-waist silhouettes—which means you can flaunt your ladylike silhouette even if you’re wearing lots of layers.
Mustard Hues

Now granted, this is wearable for only the small percentage of people who look good in the hue. But if you were blessed with the right complexion, you will positively glow this fall in the brilliant goldenrod pieces—from The Row’s velvet blazer to newcomer Wes Gordon’s elegant knee-length dress
Polka Dots

If Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg put the same print out on the runway, then you know it’s a real trend, with a capital T. If the head-to-toe patterned look isn’t your thing, try a polka-dot blouse or scarf to put a playful—and trendy!—spin on your everyday outfit.
Maxiskirts and Cozy Sweaters

While it can be tough to work up enough style energy to wear anything other than jeans or leggings on Saturdays and Sundays, the low-key and ueber-comfy outfit idea many designers sent down the runway is something worth trying. After all, who knows? The maxiskirt and sweater combo could become your new weekend uniform.
A Touch of Lace

It’s no big news that lace is hella sexy. But this fall it becomes polished, too—which means you’ve got a stellar new answer to the classic work-then-out weekday outfit idea conundrum
Jade Green Dress

It doesn’t matter what shape or size it comes in, if it’s way fancy or simply cute—the bold green dress is gonna be your go-to party outfit this season. (Not to mention a great way to stand out in a sea of LBDs!)
Bright Pants

We saw this look on the runway and off (in the front row!) and filed it away as an easy way to make winter’s dark layers look fresh and fun.
Beyonce Rockin the Baby Bump. Or is she?

The Beautiful glowing R&B Diva, Beyonce, has been raising a few eyebrows lately about her baby bump. Many critics are wondering, is Beyonce really having a baby?Or is a PR stunt? The 30-year-old mom-to-be (well at least half of you are saying) announced that she is due in February next year. Bey shocked the whole world at the 2011 MTV VMAs when she fiercely showed her glowing baby bump while interrupting her performance . In fact, after her announcement, Beyonce broke the twitter record as being the trendiest topics. So where are these conspiracy theories coming from? Well, here are many of the different conspiracies
- The “miscalculated” due date. Many are questioning Beyonce’s due date, saying that it is too soon for her to be due on that date -considering that she announced it in late August.
- Her folding baby bump. On the Australian TV show Sunday Night Beyoncé’s baby bump appeared to collapse as she sat down. That lead to a lot of people questioning her pregnancy the most.

- Family confession. Beyoncé’s own cousin has allegedly come out and stated that her pregnancy is fake, and that a surrogate is actually carrying the baby. Phssh! That could just be tabloid news. Haha
- Padded breasts!? At the premiere of her Live At Roseland DVD, Beyoncé’s boobs appeared, uh, strange, as she participated in a Q & A before the screening.
Welp, here it is tumblr. Baby bump? or baby faux? You decide.

Film: ‘Fight For Your Right Revisited’
After releasing the video for “Make Some Noise” as a teaser, the Beastie Boys’ short film “Fight For Your Right Revisited” debuted on TV at midnight last night. The half-hour film, which is an extended music video for the trio’s new album “Hot Sauce Committee Part 2,” picks up as the young Beasties (played by Elijah Wood, Danny McBride and Seth Rogen) are leaving the party from the original “Fight For Your Right” video. Check out the full film after the jump:

“ When I first heard those references used towards me, I found it incredibly hurtful. I’m a girl who knows what she wants. I am outspoken. I am strong and I think that sometimes a strong woman with an opinion is called a diva. If a man is strong and opinionated, he’s considered powerful, but if you’re a woman, it’s regarded negatively. ”
